Karachi: After a brilliant bowling show by the green shirts in the first innings of the second warm-up match of the Twenty20 World Cup against the title defenders England, Pakistan played miserably in the second innings, chasing a target of just 112 runs.
Pakistan while chasing 112 only managed to score 96 after England pacers and spinners made it too difficult for the Pakistani batsman to chase a small target.
No batsman managed to score more than twenty, Asad Shafiq being the top scorer with 20 of 20. Briggs and Dernbach were the outstanding bowlers who broke the backbone of Pakistani batsman taking three wickets each giving only 15 and 14 runs, respectively.
