Internationally acclaimed Pakistani pop rock band, consisting of Faisal Kapadia and Bilal Maqsood was the guest on 19 June at the informative and lively show Geo Shan Say. As usual, the program aimed at talking about some social problem and need of revival. The two singers exchanged their views about the well-known pop, classical singers of Pakistan.
Rapid fire questions pertaining to their opinions about the media, singing industry about Pakistan was asked. They presented their idea by saying that everyone is unique is his or her way. When asked that what remains important for Pakistan’s youth, concert, educational institutions or being into politics. They said that remaining engaged in everything remains important. They said that despite lack of opportunities, Pakistani continue to produce quality work hence they are more professional than Indians.
Talking about the trend of playing Indian songs on music channels they said that because the channels are heavily paid by the respective directors, Pakistani singers tend to get less response to their albums.
Shan however said on the show that he believed Atif Aslam and Ali Azmat should now give up singing since they lack the quality of producing variety songs. Shan said that youths should identify their responsibility of correcting the wrong doers and the youth talent should be promoted and they should also be given chance to prove themselves as the future belongs to them.
