The research was based on questionnaires from 80,306 people, and then almost half of them were followed for around 9 years on average. From 1994 to 2008 the people were asked about their sports activity, exercises and cycling and all the death during the period was recorded.
It was observed that those who performed any exercise or played any sports were healthier and the chances of death were far lower. So now sports are not only an activity which should be done during excess time rather it should be part of your daily routine.
