Islamabad: The Chief Meteorologist of Pakistan has assured that the Tsunami is unlikely to hit the coastal boundaries of Pakistan after earthquake that shakes Indonesia and different parts of Far East and South Asia. However the emergency warning by Pacific Tsunami Warning also includes the areas of Gwadar and Karachi.
Tsunami warning has been declared after the 8.5 magnitude of earthquake in Sumatra, it also shaken areas of Sri Lanka, Singapore and Thailand. India has high alerted its rescue forces on its coastal areas as it is also in the list of warning.
Tension prevails all around the affected areas which have also resulted in the increase in tension in the minds of Pakistanis. But the Chief Meteorologist Officer has declared that Pakistan is safe from any kind of natural disaster.
