Government of Sindh has launched Sindh Zameen website to check land revenue record online. According to a latest advertisement in leading newspapers of Pakistan, the first official website of computerized system of Sindh land revenue records has been launched by the provincial government. In the official website of Sindh Zameen, data of around 4 million land record can be found easily by just visiting this website. Through this website, people can find any land record of Sindh by just inserting their name or CNIC and this can be used from any part of the world. Last Year, Sindh Government had launched Sindh Zameen App for the same purpose.
This initiative has taken by the provincial government after facing lots of criticism on increasing corruption and irregularities in the Department of Land Records. According to the latest advertisement, Sindh Government has honor to launch such kind of website and app in Pakistan. Initially, land record of 18 different districts can be found on this website; however land record data of other districts will be also available soon.
Record of other land owning agencies including KDA, KMC etc. is not available on this website and App. Land owning agencies other than the Board of Revenue Sindh have their own system of maintaining the record. Efforts are underway to bring that information on this portal soon.
