Karachi: SIndh Assembly passed the approval to establish a public university in second largest city of Pakistan i.e Hyderabad on Wednesday. According to media reports, Majority members of Sindh Assembly have given vote in favor of establishing university in Hyderabad. The issue of establishing a university comes severe when the statement of Provincial Educational Minister of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Pir Mazhar-Ul-Haq has come out in which he said that he stood as an “iron wall” in the way of establishing a university in Hyderabad .
In reply, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has strongly protested against the Statement of Pir Mazhar-Ul-Haq and forced him to apologies over his remarks. Talking to media, MQM Parliamentary Leader Syed Sardar Ahmed said that when universities were establish in Lyari, Tando Mohammad Khan and particularly everywhere so why it is not possible to open the university in Hyderabad.
After many efforts MQM get success to pass a bill of establishing a university in Hyderabad.
