Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik said that the Sims of the networks will be delivered at the homes of the customers. Federal Interior Minister was talking to the media representatives where he informed that Sims will be issued directly at the homes from 1st December onwards.
He also informed that the satellite phone will be registered by the Pakistan Tele Communication Authority (PTA). He also informed that 110 million Sims are being used in the country. Due to the security issues, the sale of the Sims in the regular shops will be strictly prohibited.
He further said that the Sim buyer will have to submit two attested documents which will prove his identity in order to buy the Sim. Responding to a question he said that the You Tube will be reopened if the respective side will remove the controversial videos from it.
The Minister also informed that the anti-state elements are trying to fuel Shia-Sunni violence in the country. He advised that if the people observe any unknown group of people residing in mosques, they must inform police immediately.
