News about Silicon Valley of Pakistan are circulating on social media of Pakistan after Bill Gates letter and German Ambassador tweeted about it.
Bill Gates, the former CEO of Microsoft, wrote a letter to Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan. In the letter the billionaire showed interest to invest in Pakistan’s IT sector.
Interest was also shown for investing in Health sector by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The letter was delivered to Prime Minister by Dr Christopher Elias, President of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundations Global Development Division.
Previously Bill Gates took support from Imran Khan for anti-polio campaign.
German Ambassador to Pakistan Martin Kobler also tweeted about the Silicon Valley of Pakistan. He shared the news of Bill Gates investment in Pakistan and then hoped for a Pakistani Silicon Valley. Till now it seems a hope and dream as no concrete steps have been taken till now.
Silicon Valley is an area in San Francisco Bay Area, California which is known as the home of many startups, high-tech corporations and global companies. Headquarters of 39 businesses from Fortune 1000 are also established in Silicon Valley.
