Many people take shoulder pain too lightly but it can be a symptom for some serious health problems. Shoulder pain can be because of muscle strain or it can be because of heat problems which may result in heart attack, that’s why you should never ignore it.
Muscle Strain is the most common reason for shoulder pain. It can be because of wrong sleeping position or sitting in a fixed manner for long hours or doing things in a repetitive way can also cause shoulder pain.
If you are having pain in left shoulder than it may be due to heart problems. Even there were cases of heart attack when the patients did not felt any pain in their chest rather they had pain in their shoulder and had short breaths.
Shoulder pain can also be because of pancoast tumor. This is what people commonly refer as lung cancer, which can results in severe and constant pain.
So taking shoulder pain lightly is not a good option, rather you should visit a doctor to find out the reason for the pain.
