Dhaka: Bangladesh suffered a massive loss in the face of the death of eminent religious scholar and Shaikh-ul-Hadith of the country Allama Azizul Haque, who died yesterday (August 8, 2012) at the age of 94 here in his residence.
He was one of the greatest Mujahid of his time who fought against the British authority in India. He has translated the Sahih Al-Bukhari in Bengali language and was a active member of Khilafah Establishment party.
The Ameer of Bangladesh Khelafat Majlish, is survived by his wife, seven daughters, five sons and a host of well-wishers and relatives. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed severe grief over his death.
