Karachi: After a gap of almost 3 years, the re-arrival of cricket here in Pakistan will provide a chance to several Pakistani Cricket players to play International cricket for the very first time on their home soil. The list includes Umar Akmal, Wahab Riaz, Asad Shafiq, Ahmed Shehzad, Adnan Akmal and few others who will prove their mettle for the first time in front of home crowd.
Talented young star Umar Akmal has played 16 Test matches, 62 One Day Internationals and 29 T20 Internationals till now, all on the foreign soil.
Similarly, Aizaz Cheema, Owais Zia, Azhar Ali and Junaid Khan have also not appeared in any International match on their home soil.
Throughout three years, several players of National Cricket team have made their debuts in the overseas and have not played any kind of International cricket at their home. The coming of Bangladesh team to Pakistan will give them the chance to represent their national team at home for the very first time.
