Lahore: Senior Journalist Mohammad Akbar Alam has died here on Thursday. The deceased was laid down here in Miani Sahab Graveyard near the shrine of Hazrat Tahir Bandagi (May Allah be pleased with him).
The funeral prayer was attended by a large number of people belonging to different walks of life including Journalists, political and social personalities.
The Quran Khuwani for the blessings of the deceased will be observed today (Friday) after As’r prayers here at his resident House no. 701/2, Block-Z, street no. 3, DHA.
The well-known personalities of the society and media persons have expressed grief over the death of a prominent Journalist and have expressed sympathy with his left behind family.
