Lahore: Former Provincial Minister Sardar Dost Muhammad Khosa of Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) has resigned from the fundamental membership of the party on Friday owing differences with the party’s Central and provincial leadership, sources told.
According to the sources, Dost Muhammad, well known for Sapna Khan case, has sent his resignation to the Chief Minister Punjab Mian Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif and Party’s Chief Nawaz Sharif. He is considering his resignation from the Punjab Assembly seat as well, credible sources informed.
Earlier, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senator and senior adviser to the Punjab Chief Minister Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa on Thursday resigned from his PML-N membership for the same reason. Hassam ud Din Khosa could also resign in few days.
The sources say that the Dost Muhammad Khosa and his father had serious reservations with the party leadership on several issues, including a case against Dost Muhammad Khosa in the Sapna murder case.
