Sangakkara Quits As Sri Lankan Captain

Sri Lankan wicket keeper captain Sangakkara quits from captaincy just after third day of world cup final. He resigns from ODI & T20 captaincy while he wants to remain captain for test team. He says in statement that he already made his mind before world cup 2011 that he will give chance to new captain to prepare for 2015 world cup.

New Zealand and Australian skippers already resign from their captaincy after losing world cup matches but Sangakkara’s case is different from them. He also resigned if Sri Lanka won the world cup.
