Lahore: Former Test Captain Pakistan Cricket Team Salman Butt has denied all the claims and accusations made against him regarding the spot fixing scandal. He urged the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take a suo moto notice in his case and provide him justice.
In a special interview to Muneezay, host of Express News show ‘Pakistan Poochta Hai’, he told that he has not done anything wrong neither did he forced anyone for an illegal act.“Although I faced a critical period but still did not malign anyone just for the sake of Pakistan,” he said.
Salman Butt made an apology to the Nation for not reporting Mazhar Majeed and said that he played for Pakistan only throughout his career and hoped to play soon again for the National side with the prayers and support of people.
Butt told that he did not force Amir or Asif to ball ‘no balls’ and the discussion between him and Mohammad Amir during the match was shown and discussed in a negative way though it was only a discussion regarding bowling a bouncer to Jonathan Trott who was playing aggressively at the time.
