Karachi: The daughter of late Hakim Muhammad Saeed and the head of Hamdard Foundation has been appointed as the fourth Chancellor of Hamdard University, the decision was taken in the Board of Governor’s meeting held yesterday to name new head of the university.
Sadia Rashid replaces Senator S.M Zafar as the University’s new chancellor after he completes his tenure on the highest post.
Sadia Rashid held the post that was first held by his father Hakeem Mohammad Saeed followed by Justice (R) Ajmal Mian and S.M Zafar being the last. Hakim Saeed founded the university in 1991.The new chancellor has already held the office to carry on the work.
