ISLAMABAD: The Federal Minister for Railway Khawaja Saad Rafique has said that he wants to congratulate Pakistan People’s Party for a successful congregation in Karachi, adding that we will continue working relationship with PPP in accordance with charter of democracy. He added that we changed the shapes or forms of cities in Punjab whereas nothing changed in the cities of Sindh.
In a statement, Saad Rafique said that he was happy on the efforts of PPP’s revival, adding that PPP took part in diving Pakistan in 1971 when the party did not accept the decision of votes. He further said that he was watching congregations between People’s Party and Tehreek-e-Insaf interestingly. He criticized saying that PPP gobbled everything down in its era which used to chant a slogan of South Punjab.
On the other hand, the president of Pakistan Awami Tehreek Dr Raheeq Abbasi has said that today’s congregation will write a new history, adding that we are not ending sit-in. while briefing at Minar-e-Pakistan Ground about the arrangements of the congregation, Raheeq Abbasi said that Dr Tahirul Qadri would leave Islamabad at 9 O’clock for Lahore.
He said that the congregation of Lahore would prove that the citizens of Lahore had given their decisions in favor of revolution like in Faisalabad. He added that the congregation of Lahore would write a new history and the nation would once again see the March 23rd, 1940.
Raheeq Abbasi said that 75 thousands chairs had been set in the congregation place whereas he said the quantity of the chairs would exceed over one lakh. He further said that we were not ending the sit-in, Tahirul Qadri would come from the sit-in and would go back in the same way he did in Faisalabad.
