Karahis are the favorite food of many desi food lovers and today we have a special treat for you with the recipe of Peshawari Chicken Karahi. Now you don’t need to go out and spend money in restaurants but can enjoy this delicious dish at home. The recipe is as follows:
INGREDIENTS:
Chicken | 1/2kg |
Garlic Whole | 8 to 10 |
Tomatoes | 375g |
Green Chilies | 8 to 10 |
Coriander | 2 tablespoons |
Red Chilli Powder | 1 tablespoon |
Salt | As needed |
Ginger | 1 inch piece |
Oil or Ghee | 1 cup |
Dry Fenugreek | 2 tablespoons |
RECIPE:
Cut the garlic into small pieces and add it to half cup of water along with the Red Chillie powder and salt and stir to dissolve and make a paste. Heat the oil or ghee, add the paste to it and stir fry. When it is properly done add the chicken to it. Add enough water to cover half the chicken. Add tomatoes and ginger and cook it till the water evaporates. When the water is evaporated, stir fry the coriander in a frying pan, then also add the dried Fenugreek and stir fry it lightly. After that grind the ingredients finely. When the chicken is cooked, add the green chilies, ground coriander and Fenugreek and close the lid of the cooking pot. Now turn off the stove and wait five minutes before serving delicious Karahi.
