It is well known that Hizb ut Tahreer Paksitan a part of global Islamist political party has announced a declared event on 17th April 2011 a month back to the event. In the lines of the announced event of Hizb ut Tahreer wing Pakistan, the party is successful in organizing various rallies, protests and exhibitions in different cities of Pakistan including Islamabad, Karachi, Peshawar, Rawalpindi and Lahore.
The exhibitions are organized in Lahore press club, Karachi press club and Islamabad press club. 13th April Khilafat Exibition in Lahore, while on 14th April the same Khilafat exibition is organized in Karachi and Islamabad. However it is also reported that the exhibition in Islamabad is sabotaged by authorities.
Previously various rallies and protests were also organized in highlighting and supporting the main event in various locations of Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Islamabad.
The main event is planned on 17th April in Liaquat Bagh Rawalpindi, Qissa Khorani Bazar Peshawar and Regal Chowk Karachi.
Few years back Hizb ut Tahreer organized similar rallies against Swat operation but the police and intelligence agencies thrashed the rallies and arrested many participants.
However people question that why did government ban Hizb ut Tahreer despite it is a non violent group. Moreover verdict of Anti terrorism court Karachi says that the ban on Hizb ut Tahreer Pakistan is unjustified and the challenge case against the ban is still pending in Lahore High court Rawalpindi bench for multiple years. Therefore it is incomprehensible that militant outfits are at large legally in Pakistan whereas a peaceful non violent Islamist political party is thrashed by unjustified charges.
