Lahore: Additional Session Judge, Safdar Ali Bhatti has dismissed the case filed against the famous singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. International singer, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan was sued for the enrolment of transaction of 15 lac rupees by the Chairman of Roshan Aara trust, Roshan Aara has said. Her case has been dismissed by the additional session judge and asked her to appeal the civil court, she added.
The Chairman of Roshan Aara trust, Roshan Aara said that she organized a charity program at Expo Centre for which she invited Rahat Fateh Ali Khan to conduct a show and the deal was fixed for 30 lac rupees and he also agreed to it.
Later on Rahat Fateh Ali Khan called and asked her to transfer 15 lac rupees to his account as advance and also promised to conduct a meeting regarding this matter but did not come for the meeting. During this time due to some issues the program was cancelled. Later on when the singer was asked to return the payment, he clearly rejected to give back the amount.
