Pakistan’s major internet providers Qubee & Wi-tribe have entreated into a service partnership after which Qubee will transfer its customers to Wi-Tribe.
Qubee informed its customers about the transition assuring their customers that the process will be seamless without any disturbance and service interruption. But no time period was given regarding the transition period.
‘Our commitment to providing you the best support during this transition is our top priority’ claimed the internet provider.
Qubee informed its customers about the service partnership through SMS message which was sent to all their customers.
No other official details are available about this service partnership on their official websites or Facebook pages. Many are claiming it to be an acquisition by wi-tribe.
Qubee started its services in Pakistan metropolitan cities in 2009 and later spread by acquisition of Wateen. Currently it provides WiMax internet services in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad & Rawalpindi.
Wi-tribe also started its wireless internet services in 2009, it is part of GB Group which also owns the Sky telecom which provides telecommunication and information services in Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK).
