The Punjab Chief Secretary, Nasir Mahmood Khosa, has lauded the services of the Surrayya Azeem (Waqf) Hospital and the Mansoora Hospital being run by the Jamaat e Islami and the Al-Khidmat Foundation in combating the dengue virus.
In an appreciation letter addressed to the JI Secretary General Liaqat Baloch and Administrator, Surrayya Azeem Trust Hospital, Faizul Bari, the Chief Secretary noted that the two hospitals run by the JI had set up special dengue wards and also reduced the diagnostic test fee from Rs.90 to Rs. 50 to facilitate the patients thereby extending commendable support to the Punjab government efforts to control the epidemic.
He appreciated the deep rooted commitment displayed by the JI team during the challenge faced by the people of the Punjab in the shape of the outbreak of dengue fever. It may be pointed out that the Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif during his meeting with the JI Secretary General on Tuesday had appreciated the services of the two hospitals run by the JI against the dengue fever.
