Karachi: There has been a buzz going around for the past few weeks that Pakistan Television Network has stopped telecasting Azan-e-Isha on its TV channel across Pakistan. It has been circulated immensely by those who had not even carried out a research about it. The research in this regard was mandatory as spreading rumors is itself prohibited in Islam.
However, we Pakistani nation, best to be called as an emotional nation, started forwarding text messages, posting status on facebook, tweets on twitter to recorded a protest against such step, still without knowing whether the news is true or not.
The point to ponder here is that the vulgar content which continues to telecast on our TV channels is the bigger evil or abandoning Azan from PTV is much significant? Which majority of us doesn’t listen to and which has already Masajids to carry it out.
Our nation and the innocent people should have protested against the vulgar and inappropriate content that is projected on daily basis rather than abandonment of Azan from TV.
We should have demonstrated against the authorities which is enforcing UnIslamic system and values upon us, killing thousands of its own people, abducting and torturing them.
We ought to throw ourselves on the road against poverty, capitalistic norms, Interest based economic system and many such aspects to prove our Muslim identity rather than becoming the Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing.

@Sarah Jackson, hello dear
muhammad ikram
This is just a justification or brainwashing people to stop protesting against banning of Isha Azan. I know there are volgur BCs but it doesn’t mean to stop good BCs too just for the sake of these volgur BCs to continue, instead why not protest against volgur BCs to be stopped. There people who listens to Azan. Instead of agreeing to the above statement I will condemn the banning of Isha Azan.
waris.
we know that Masjids are there for Azaan but then watching Azaan on our TV sets at home creates a whole new atmosphere.. The ban on Azaan telecast is absolutely regretable and condemned..
