Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Jeddah City organized a grand ceremony on the 68th birthday of Prime Minister Imran Khan and one year anniversary of Jeddah City Body and awarded certificates and shields to the best-performing party members.
The event was chaired by PTI Jeddah City President Qaiser Javed. A large number of party functionaries and workers attended the function.
Addressing the function, Qaiser Javed, Chaudhry Zaheer, Bashir Khan Swati, Rana Tahir, Riaz Shaheen Afridi, Rizwan Waraich, Yasmeen Ijaz, and others said that in 68 years, the captain not only proved his leadership skills but also proved that he is a great leader.
They further added, “When he stepped on the cricket field, he made Pakistan the winner of the World Cup, when he stepped on the social field, he built a hospital to treat cancer patients and when he stepped into politics, the captains took over the field and once again proved to be a great player. We pray for the longevity of our leader”.
Honorary shields and certificates were distributed among party members who did marvelous work during the whole last year. Chaudhry Munir, Mian Shahid, Raja Bashir, Shumaila Shehzad, Iqra Khan, Sonia Slo, Farzana Munir, Mian Naeem, Amir Sajjad Work, Shahid Amjad, and others also addressed the function and at the end of the ceremony, they all cut Imran Khan’s birthday cake.
