Islamabad: Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaaf (PTI) pads up for the upcoming general elections with theannouncement of a schedule for its intra-party elections all around the country. The intra party elections campaign will commence with the polls in the Federal Capital.
According to PTI official website, the complete voters list has been made public and any complaint regarding the list will reach the head office until 19th October 2012.
Nominations would get begun from 22nd to 24th October while the finalized nominations will be announced on 25th October. The elections will be held on 2nd November.
Approximately 58,000 voters would cast their ballots from Islamabad in the first phase of election, senior vice president of PTI said while addressing a news briefing in Islamabad.
“Voters can also cast their votes through SMS,” Hamid Khan said adding that Khyber Pakhtunkhua and Punjab will be the next destinations for intra-party elections after Islamabad.
