Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Sindh is a provincial institution responsible for managing disasters and relief work in the province of Sindh. Jobs are available but only for domicile holders of Sindh.

How To Apply?
The hiring system of PDMA Sindh is not online and applicants cannot apply online. All new jobs are advertised through newspapers after which interested candidates can send their CVs, attested document and application form to the Head Office of PDMA Sindh.
Academic requirement and age limit will vary from one job to another. Candidates should check whether they fulfill the criteria before sending their application.
Applicants should make sure that all copies of required documents are attested and it reaches the head office within due date otherwise the application will not be considered.

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for tests and interview by HR. The time and venue of the test will also be published in daily newspapers. No TA/DA shall be allowed and the vacancies will be divided as per the urban and rural quota system of Sindh province.
Applicants from minority, Disabled people and women will be entertained through the special quota of Sindh government.
Provincial Disaster Management Commission (PDMC) and District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) were also established under PDMA to spread the network and work more efficiently.
The head office of PDMA-Sindh is located in Karachi with two regional offices is Hyderabad and Sukkur. They are responsible for creating awareness about disaster management and how people can manage risk to reduce the loss of life and property if any disaster affects Sindh.
In the past 70 years of independence Sindh faced many natural disasters such as floods, cyclones, earthquakes and drought. Floods have been more devastating for Sindh causing deaths and destroying villages and crops.
