Famous Pakistani singer Shiraz Uppal announced to left singing songs. Although he told about his decision in February 2012, this news came into media yesterday. On his Facebook official page he said “So I said Good Bye to my Musical Career by my own choice”. He also shared some videos of Sheikh Yusuf Estes and Dr Zakir Naik about on music in Islam.
Shiraz Uppal’s Bibliography: he did MBA in 1998 and then he decided to make career in music industry. In 2001, his first music album “Tu ha Mera” was released which couldn’t get good response in market. His next three albums “Tera teh Mera” (2003), Jhuki Jhuki” 2005 and “Ankahi” 2009 hit not only Pakistani music industry but also Bollywood.
He also worked as music producer; he owns a production studio in Lahore named S.U Studios. This studio gave many songs and many leading singers and bands including Atif Aslam, JAL, Noori, Zeb and Haniya, Amanat and Fareeha Pervaiz did their work in Shiraz Uppal’s studio.
How he converted? According to a local newspaper, six months ago Singer Shiraz was start diverting towards Islam. He started five times prayer (Salah) and also reading of Quran. During this period he faced internal conflict between his heart and mind. Last month he updated following status “My mind is at war with my heart… Let’s see who wins!
