Following the trends of leading smart phone manufacturers, Q mobile which is the largest selling smart phone brand in Pakistan, is set to launch its new series of 3G enabled smart phone targeted towards the youth of the country. The new series of phones are termed as LINQ and set to focus on heavy texting and sharing features and graphic features previously seen on high-end leading smart phone brands of the world on the latest Android platforms. The phones are stated to be in the price range to 12,000 to 30,000 rupees.
Mr. Zeeshan Akhtar, CEO of Q mobile has also announced that following the trend with many Q mobile phones with celebrity endorsements of likes Karrena Kapoor, Atif Aslam, Shaan, and lately Soonam Kapoor the company has done a deal with former Miss World and Indian actress Priyanka Chopra to be the brand ambassador. It is also speculated that the new series of phones will have longer battery life so that youth and young people can rely heavily on the phone on a single go-on charge. The new LINQ series is likely to be launched officially on the coming Sunday 29th of December 2014.
Q mobile has already captured more than 50 % of Pakistani market but still the users are sceptical when buying phone with cutting edge technologies. LINQ smart phone is considered a desperate effort by the company to cater the needs of buyers of that specific nature and gain the trust in the community to compete with Samsung Galaxy, HTC nexus One and Apple smart phones in Pakistani market.
