Private Dance Parties at Boom In Karachi

Recently few people died including Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti grandson Talay Bugti and several got injured when firing took place in a dance party in DHA, Karachi. These types of private dance parties are at boom in Karachi and most of these parties are held in DHA. And some of these parties carry Hard drinks, strip dance show

and many other controversial things. These types of parties are wasting precious time of our youth and are taking youth on the wrong side.

It is also amazing that one of the most Posh area of the city witnessed the said incident where weapons was also used openly which causes causalities. When Law enforcement agencies cannot maintain law and order in posh areas that how can they maintain law and order in tense areas?

Few years back, dance parties were very few in number but now day by day these type of parties are expanding. It will be better if DHA and all other authorities don’t give permission for these parties. Media has played a big role in putting these types of negative interest in youths. It will also be better if our media portray those things which are part of our culture and society. PEMRA should also strictly follow the ruling of Supreme Court which has banned all the Indian channels and all the foreign channels which are aired in Pakistan must be accessed by Censor Board before going on air.
