Almost 400 contestants of different parties in contest for the June 26 elections in Azad Jammu and Kashmir 2011. Among those 400 contestants, there is only one woman candidate from PML (N). At this not party has dominating position. According to experts there will be great battle of votes between Muslim Conference, Pakistan Peoples Party and Muslim League (N).
Jammu Kashmir Party, National democratic alliance and Muttahida Qaumi Movement have capability to knock out giant parties of Azad Kashmir. According to media experts, Muttahida Qaumi Movement will easily get 1-2 seats as they did in Gilgit Baltistan election 2009.
On other hand Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf is not participate this election due several reasons. Many critics say that results of these elections are pre-planned and establishment doesn’t want to give chance to antagonist group.
