Saira Afzal Tarar is a MNA from NA-102 (Hafizabad-1) Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz. She is also the state minister of health sciences regulation and coordination. Afzal Tarar is a resident of village Kolo Tarar of district Hafizabad. She was educated initially at a village school but later on shifted to Lahore with her father to get a better education in Lahore. She pursued her education in DPS and then was able to complete her masters.
Afzal Tarar was educated in a family where education for women was not encouraged. Her family however stood beside her until she met her goal. Her village was dominated by men with a conservative mind set, where women were not allowed education. She had to face extreme opposition at the hands of her family while her husband was abroad. She however took up the challenge and was able to live in this area for an entire 1 year.
Afzal Tarar had to struggle at every stage of her journey. She had to handle a lot of challenges, specifically at her teaching career at the Sharja College, as she was the only female employee. Saira Afzal Tarar is an example for all women who have to face many problems in their lives. She is an example for all women to work hard and not give in their dream.
