Islamabad: After being nominated as the Prime Minister, the former Minister for Electric Power and Supply, Raja Pervez Ashraf’s residence located in the elite F8 sector of the capital city has been exempted from load -shedding, news sources have learnt.
As per the media report details ,he newly elected Prime Minister private home has been installed with special electric lines and transformers to ensure continuous power supply. No other house has been provided with such connection, officials have said.
The streets have been re-carpeted in the area near to the prime minister’s residence after the installation of the electrical lines by the Capital Development Authority.
It is said that despite the protest being shown by the local residents, the green belt has been changed to a parking area to accommodate the guests of the PM.
Superintendent engineer of Islamabad Electric Supply Corporation (IESCO) said that these steps have been taken to cope with the emergency like situations. All these facilities would be taken back, when he loses his prime ministry, he further told.
