Plea Against Drone Attacks Filed In Supreme Court

LAHORE: A petition has been filed in Supreme Court Lahore Registry branch to seek directions against drone attacks. Petitioner Barrister Zafarullah Khan has filed plea stating that government may be directed to stop US drone attacks in Pakistan territory, adding that these attacks are against the sovereignty of the country and government is responsible to provide protection of life and property of citizens.

Petitioner has requested that court may issue the orders to government for stopping the attacks, adding that if drones are not been stopped than directions should be issued to stop NATO supply.
