Islamabad: The PPP government continues to follow the policy of giving relief at the end of ruling tenure in order to get votes in the next elections as the price of petrol is expected to get lowered by Rs. 2.5 per liter from 15th July, local TV channel reported Monday.
Meanwhile, it is expected that the price of Kerosene oil would be raised by two rupees per liter while a hike of four rupees per liter is expected in the rates of HOBC. However, the price of Hi-Speed diesel will remain constant.
Currently, petrol is priced at Rs. 84.49 /Ltr in Pakistan and if the prices get lowered as expected then this would be much relief for the people living here. However, despite the lowering in prices of petrol and diesel, bus fares remains constant which is a matter of concern for the people.
