Lahore: Following the rejection of appeal lodged by Pakistan Cricket Board to ICC against the unjust exclusion of its top bowler and spin master Saeed Ajmal, the Board has now decided to boycott the ICC Awards 2012 event. Officials from PCB will not attend the colorful event now, local television reported Thursday.
According to the media reports, the Board took the decision during a meeting on Thursday over serious pressure from the public aroused against attending the event.
After the decision of discarding Saeed Ajmal out of the nominees list for best player of the year taken by ICC, the people in Pakistan held serious reservations over the credibility of selection of players for its annual awards.
