Lahore: Ameer Jamat’ud’Dawah (JuD) Prof. Hafiz Saeed has said that foreign powers are desperately trying to destroy the ideological nation founded upon “Laa ilaaha illallah”, Pakistan. In order to destabilize the nation, acts of sectarianism, target-killing, and terrorism are being extensively used. JuD will launch a week-long campaign from 21st May regarding Youm-e-Takbeer, and various rallies, seminars and conferences will be conducted throughout the country for public-awareness.
Addressing to “Ittehad-e-Ummat Conference” in Shad Bagh, Lahore, Professor Hafiz Saeed invited all the sections of society to unite and cooperate for defending the nation against ideological assaults. The audience consisted of thousands of people including students, businessmen, and lawyers. Various spokespersons of JuD including Hafiz Abdur Rehman Makki, Prof. Zafar Iqbal and Maulana Ameer Hamza were also present in the conference.
He further said that India is desperately striving to crush the freedom movement of Kashmir through state-terrorism. On the other hand, Kashmiris are struggling for their rights which are granted to them by UNO Charter as well. The fear of Pakistan emerging as a powerful Islamic nuclear state has prompted the Indians to unjustly build 62 dams on Pakistani rivers and thus put a clutch on our water supply.
Maulana Saifullah Khalid of JuD, Sheikh Naeem Badshah of “Muttahida Jamiat Ahle Hadith”, Hafiz Sanaullah Farooqui, Maulana Muhammad Bilal and others also gave speeches and highlighted the propaganda against Pakistan and its defense institutions as baseless.
