In an unfortunate event a Pakistani YouTuber Zuhair was killed during a prank in Lahore city. He was filming a prank along with his two other friends when the incident happened.
According to the details a fight erupted when Rana Zuhair along with Saboor and Hasnat Ali were shooting a prank in a nearby Park.
To make a new video for their YouTube channel ‘Lahori Vines’ these friends disguised as ghosts to frighten people but the prank went wrong after a man opened fired on Zuhair.
Rana Zuhair’s father said that his son took permission from him before visiting the park to shoot a prank video, but later he received a call from his friends informing him about the incident.
These friends started making such videos recently with only 4 pranks on their YouTube Channel. It is being argued that for social media fame teenagers are taking risks with dangerous consequences.
Pranks are a common trend among YouTubers despite the fact that not only in Pakistan but in many other countries this result in violence.
In 2017 the issue was highlighted after a prankster Pedro Ruiz died when his girlfriend Perez fired on him for a video thinking that an encyclopedia will stop the bullet. She was later charged for second degree murder and sentenced.
