Quetta witnessed a peaceful long march against military operations & terrorism under the leadership of Manzoor Pashteen. Pakistani Channels completely blackouts the Pashtun long march but people reacted on twitter with hashtag #PashtunLongMarch2Quetta.
Chairman of Pashtun Tahfuz Movement (PTM) Manzoor Pashteen during his speech discussed the issue of missing persons and military operations. He narrated stories of innocent women, children and men who were killed in the war.
Strongly condemn the blackout of #PashtunLongMarch2Quetta by Pakistani media organizations as no journalists are seen in the gathering the DSNGs are only out when they’re out to cover shameless horse trading in Senate Elections? Malign #democracy? pic.twitter.com/96GNrEchcd

On twitter people supported their demand of complete constitutional rights for people of Tribal areas. Many people criticized government on their policy regarding Afghan war which destabilized Pakistan.
Pashtun uprising is a result of flawed terrorism policies, esp Afghan policy. Pashtuns were used as fodder and their soil was used as battlefield in pursuit of an ambitious regional agenda. Today’s rally indicates the utter failure of ‘strategic depth’. #PashtunLongMarch2Quetta

This long march was part of uprising which started after the fake encounter of Naqeeb Ullah Mehsud by SSP Rao Anwar. The first public protest by tribal leaders was held in Karachi, later protest was staged for several days in Islamabad demanding the arrest and prosecution of SSP Rao Anwar.
When government failed to meet the demand of the protestors they started a long march to different areas of Balochistan including Khanozai, Qila Saifullah, Zob & Quetta.
