Karachi: Pakistan women cricket team finally show some sings of progress and sheer hard work as female Pakistani middle order batsman Javaria Khan manages to get into the top 20 women batter in ICC recent rankings. This is the first time any Pakistani female batsman has reached this feat.
Meanwhile, Captain Pakistani team Sana Mir continues to show her excellent, effective and improving bowling skills as she is moved up to 11th position from her last best of 12th.
Recent tour of UK proved to be quite beneficial for the green shirts as both the bowlers and batsman performed reasonably well both in ODI and T-20 matches.
It also provide a good platform for the National batters as Nain Abidi scored the first ever ODI century which is the first by any Pakistani batter against Ireland while Javeria Khan also remained top scorer in the last T-20 match of the tour against West Indies where Javeria remained the highest scorer with 37 on 43 balls while Bisma Maroof scored 36 of 47 balls.
