Pakistan cricket team won the three match series against arch-rivals India. Pakistan won the second One Day International (ODI) by 85 runs played at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. India won the toss and decided to bowl first. Pakistan had an excellent start as opening pair of Nasir Jamshed and Mohammad Hafeez put on 141 runs. Nasir Jamshed scored another century, he also scored century in the first ODI match which was played at Chennai on 30tht December.
Nasir Jamshed scored 106 off 124 balls with the help of 12 fours and two sixes. Mohammad Hafeez scored 76 runs of 74 balls and Shoaib Malik chipped in with 24 runs. Ravindra Jadeja and Ishant Sharma took three wickets for India by giving away 41 and 34 runs respectively.
In reply India were all out for 165 in 48th over. Mahendra Singh Dhoni scored 54 not out and Sehwag scored 31. For Pakistan Saeed Ajmal bagged three wickets and all were in the one over. Junaid Khan bagged three wickets and Umar Gul grabbed two wickets. Mohammad Hafeez and Shoaib Malik also took one wicket each. Third and final ODI of the series will be played on 6th January at Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi.
