The dinner was hosted by Muhammad Bashir, General Secretary, Pakistan Welfare Association, Jeddah. All members including Pervez Qureshi, Bashir Swati participated. Public welfare work, including daily consumable items & grocery, were distributed by Welfare Association Jeddah during Covid-19 among poor and working-class, was appreciated.

He said that the purpose of the forum was not to advertise but to serve the Pakistani community in abroad.
While the whole world was affected by the covid-19, the Pakistani community in Saudi Arabia included drivers and the daily working class also affected.
“The forum not only participated in rations and other welfare activities under its own auspices and in collaboration with the Consulate, but also took the lead” he further added

Amir Mohammad Khan, Chairman Pakistan Journalists Forum, paid tribute to Bashir Swati on the occasion. He said that the way in which Pakistan Welfare Association Jeddah stood with its people in difficult times is unprecedented.
