Lahore: Two swimmers from Pakistan have managed to make their place in the London Olympics which is scheduled to begin from July this year. One Pakistani man and a woman will enter the mega event through wild card entry, a statement released by the Pakistan Swimming Federation (PSF) said on Friday.
Swimmer Israr Hussain will represent Pakistanin 100-metre freestyle heats while Anum Banday will take part in the 400-metre individual medley at the London Games.
Both the players are being selected on the basis of their performance in the 14th FINA World Championships, held in Shanghai last year.
Pakistan Swimming Federation has hoped that the players will perform their best in the mega event and try to make shine country’s name.
