Lahore: Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Liaqat Baloch reacting to the recent drone attack has demanded that Pakistan should block the NATO supply again. Earlier, at least 22 tribesmen were killed and several were left injured in US drone strike on Datta Khel, Waziristan. According to a press release issued here at Mansoora, he expressed his views while addressing a procession held at Faisalabad.
He said the US had exploited Pakistan’s political and military leadership for NATO supply restoration while Pakistani rulers had followed the footprint of former dictator Pervaiz Musharraf. “In fact, the rulers have put the national security, sovereignty and autonomy at risk,” he added.
JI leader was of the view that NATO supply reopening would bring insecurity and law and order in the country. “Now the US will organize terrorism and subversive activities at every step in order to destabilize Pakistan,” he added.
He said Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan and Difa-e-Pakistan would continue its peaceful protests against NATO supply restoration for national security. He hoped that Long March against NATO supply resumption to be held on July 08, (Today) would be a starting point to pressurize on the rulers to retreat from their decisions.
