Islamabad: Pakistan has been re-elected the member of United Nations Human Rights Council for the third time in the history, on Monday. The re-election was held on Monday.
The permanent representatives of Pakistan to the United Nations Masood Khan said in a statement that Pakistan has always hold up the issue of human rights in the country and that it was the part of the country’s constitution and its ideology.
He said that by electing Pakistan as a member of the UNHRC, the International community has reposed confidence in the State of Pakistan and its services for the rights of human.
