Kasur: PML-N Changa Manga leader and well-known merchant Rana Shaukat was burnt alive by unknown attackers in Changa Manga area of Kasur. According to police, unknown attackers tied hands of PML-N’s local leader Rana Shaukat, who was sleeping at his residence and set him on fire after sprinkling petrol. Shaukat succumbed to burn injuries. Police has started investigation reaching on place of incident.
According to information Shaukat was sleeping at his house last night that nearly 03:00AM unidentified culprits came at his house and tied his hand and set him on fire after sprinkling petrol, Shaukat was burnt critically and succumbed to burn injuries.
District police officers Kasur examined the incident site after reaching there and constituted the police teams to arrest murderers. Trade Union has announced a shutter down strike against the killing of Rana Shaukat. It is worth mentioning here that Rana Shaukat was the member of district council and a close relative of Speaker Punjab Assembly Rana Iqbal.
