Karachi: “Flourishing media industry in Pakistan need to follow ethics” was the topic of workshop organized by Pakistan Media Club (PMC) at Marriot Karachi. The event was attended by anchors & producers of various channels.
Chairman PMC Zia Khan stared the event with short intro of PMC. He told that initial processing of Karachi, Islamabad and Lahore chapter of PMC is done. Zia Khan also announced that there would be special launching ceremony of PMC.

Wusatullah khan, best known for his BBC Urdu articles, talked about the importance of media in society. He was of the view that media has power not only to change but also to make public opinion. Media houses and media people decide what they want people to watch. Answering the questions of participants Mr. Khan gave comparison of professional and materialistic interests in journalism. He said media people should do the right thing as they hold a great responsibility.
Faisal Sayani showed his concerns about how media in Pakistan is violating ethics & morals. He also shared a presentation of unethical content from various channels. Mr. Sayani emphasized on the importance of moral awareness in media practitioners. Workshop was followed by photo session and Hi-tea
