Gulzar Khan is a Pakistan citizen from Islamabad who is father of 36 children and his family consists of more than 150 people because of dozens of grandchildren.
Talking with media Gulzar Khan said that in past strength of any family and tribe was based on numbers of male members mostly because of security situation and wars. That’s from where tradition of greater number of children started, now he believes that having smaller families is not a problem.
His brother Mastan Khan Wazi is also father of 22 children, when asked about numbers of his grandchildren he said I am unable to keep a track of them.
Pakistan is the 6th most populous country in the world and every woman in Pakistan gives birth to at least 3 children. Currently because of poor government policies the growth of population has become a liability & burden while many countries including China used their population as an asset for rapid economic growth.
