Pakistan cricket team tour of South Africa has started as both the teams are playing first Test match at at New Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg. Pakistan cricket team bowlingwas good in the first inning as South Africa were restricted to 253, South Africa were 135/3 at one stage, however Mohammad Hafeez picked up four wickets to bowl out Graeme Smith xi for 253.
Pakistan batting line up which has always remained inconsistent on tours of Australia and South Africa once again showed that they are still not mentally strong and Pakistan were bowled out 49, their lowest score in Test history. Dale Steyn picked up six wickets for eight runs and thrashed Pakistan batting line-up.
South Africa has now declared their second inning for 275/3 and have set target of 480 runs for Pakistan to win. The match is under way but there are bright chances that South African team will win the match.
The question which arises is that why Pakistan batsmen have failed to perform in Australia and South Africa. Whenever the first Test match starts Pakistan team failed to post a big score and later on in the tour batsman started to score runs but still they failed to post big score in these countries. Pakistan cricket team management should focus on this problem and batsmen should be made mentally strong so that they can score some runs and than bowlers can do their work.
