Pakistan cricket team won the first one day international of three match series against Zimbabwe by five runs.
Pakistan after winning the toss elected to bat first and scored 247/7 in 50 overs. Younis Khan scored 78 whereas captain Misbah-ul-haq scored 58 runs.
In reply Zimbabwe were restricted to 242/7. Captain Taylor scored 84 runs and opener Sibanda made 73 runs.
Debutant Aizaz Cheema picked up three wickets for Pakistan. Now Pakistan will face Zimbabwe in second ODI on 11th September at Harare.
