Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced to send as many as ten Pakistan Cricket greats including Imran Khan, Hanif Mohammad, Zaheer Abbas and other notables to India when Pakistan Cricket team visit India for five International matches. The Board decided to invite ten legendary cricketers of Pakistan as Goodwill Ambassadors for series that will start from December 25 with a Twenty20 match in Bangalore.
The decision naming Pakistan cricket greats for India series was taken in a Board meeting of Executive Coordination Committee (ECC) chaired by the Board’s chief Zaka Ashraf yesterday in Lahore.
According to a PCB media release, ‘the ECC decided to invite the legends of Pakistan Cricket to witness the matches between India and Pakistan. The committee noted that these cricketers have rendered valuable services for Pakistan cricket and are asset for not only PCB but for the country as a whole.’
